Shenandoah Seasonal is a family farm growing chemical-free vegetables, specialty greens and herbs. Located on 65 acres of land in Boyce, VA, Shenandoah Seasonal provides farm fresh produce all year long by growing intensively on three acres and throughout more than 11 hoop houses.

Ali and Dan Haney started the business after returning from Cambodia, where they worked as social workers. In Cambodia, “food shopping was a daily enjoyment that takes place in open air markets,” Dan says. “We loved living in a place where fresh and local produce is a critical part of cooking and daily life.” Their experience there planted a passion for sustainable agriculture. They began the farm in 2012 “with $15,000, our two dogs, and grit.”
